    • A reference guide to many breeds of dogs including photos and brief descriptions of each breed's characteristics.
  • Capital Area Humane Society
    • Adopt pets, get puppy/dog training, or apply for a free spay/castration (neuter) and rabies vaccination (low income families only).

    • Adopt cats or apply for a low cost spay/castration (neuter) for a cat you all ready own (low income families only).
  • Cornell Feline Health Center
    • Client education on a variety of feline topics including a link to videos on how to medicate cats, give subcutaneous fluids, trim nails, and care for the diabetic cat.
  • National Animal Poison Control Center
    • This is the website of the National Animal Poison Control Center. It includes a library, links to other sites, and phone numbers for the poison control center.
  • Pet Cremation Services
    • Pet Cremation Services offers private or communal cremation for your pet as well as grief and bereavement counseling.
