Office Management

Jane
Graduate of White Cross Hospital School of Nursing 1960. I worked for many years in the geriatric field. I am the wife of Dr. Paul H. Knapp, mother of Dr. Robert H. Knapp. Also mother to Jim, Irene and David Knapp. Grandmother to 3 grandsons and to 3 granddaughters.

I worked for many years at the hospital as a manager. Currently, I help with payroll and conduct employee evaluations.

I enjoy attending my grandchildren's many activities. Reading and working in the garden and yard occupies much of my "extra" time. I also enjoy watching sporting events at the youth, high school, college and professional levels. My granddaughters are involved in marching band (flag corp) and dance.

Tammy
I have managed veterinary clinics for over 10 years and started working at Knapp's in February of 2006.

Veterinary Technicians

Shirley (Head Technician)
I am a graduate of CSCC. I have been with the hospital since 1991 and am currently the head technician. I have a husband, 3 human children and 2 four legged children at home.

Kelly
I have worked at Knapp Veterinary Hospital since 2000. I received my Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management in 1999 from The Ohio State University and my Associate of Applied Sciences in Veterinary Technology in 2001 from Columbus State. I enjoy spending time with my husband, dog and 4 cats. I sing at my church and also enjoy watching movies, reading, sewing and home improvement.

Stacey
I have worked at Knapp's since 2000. During my time here I graduated from Columbus State with a Vet Tech degree in 2002 and moved from kennel assistant to vet tech. My husband and I have one son.

Tanya
I graduated from Grad-Valparaisa University in 1995 with a BA in sociology/criminal justice and in 1998 with an MALS sociology (concentration in Native American Studies). After a stint as a case manager at a juvenile retention facility I moved to Columbus to study vet tech/animal behavior. I graduated from Columbus State Community College in 2002 and have worked at Knapp's since 2000. I like to spend my free time with friends and my family which includes my children, stepchildren, husband and 2 boston terriers. I'm interested in ultra distance running, integrative health care, helping women find information on birthing rights/choices and attending choice parent support group.

Jen
I graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Agriculture and immediately went to Columbus State where I obtained my Associates in Veterinary Technology. I have one cat and I am the web site designer/developer for Knapp Veterinary Hospital.

Julie
I graduated from OSU in 2004 with a BS degree in Zoology. I'm a graduate of Columbus State Community College where I received my Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. I plan on specializing in dentistry.

Tessa
I graduated from Indiana University in 2002 with a BS in psychology and a minor in animal behavior. Afterward, I graduated from Columbus State with an Associates in Veterinary Technology. I also work at the Columbus Zoo. I have been working in the field since 2002, but have only been at Knapp's since 2006. I have a cat named Leroy and a Pug named Indy. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.

Shelley
I graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in 2002 and went on to graduate from Columbus State Community College with my Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2008. I have 2 cats and a boxer to go home to every day. I also enjoy photography and spending time with friends and family.

Veterinary Assistants

Karie
I obtained my BS in Biology from the University of Findlay in 2007. From there I went on and received my Masters of Public Health Veterinary Specialization in 2009. I started working at Knapp's in August 2010 and am currently attending classes at Columbus State to become a veterinary technician.

Receptionists

Anne (Supervisor)
I have been in the veterinary field for over 11 years now and have been at Knapp's since 2010. I have two dogs and a cat at home. I enjoy spending time with my husband and friends. The beach is my favorite place to spend my vacation time.

Irene
I have worked off and on at Knapp Veterinary Hospital since 1984. I enjoy working at Knapp's because I love being a part of the team that helps animals to get and stay healthy.

Bobbye
I am a part time office employee and have worked at KVH since January of 1994. I have a BS degree in psychology/life science from Otterbein College. My husband and I have 2 boys that keep us on the go, along with 3 very loved dogs, a guinea pig and 2 fish.

Michelle
I have worked at Knapp Veterinary Hospital since 2003. I enjoy spending time with my 3 children and Joy (our dog).

Ashley M.
I am an aspiring DVM (veterinarian). I'm majoring in Biology at CSCC, but will transfer to OSU. I speak English, Spanish and Italian.

Natalie
I have been working in the veterinary field for over 10 years and started working at Knapp's beginning in 2012. My interests include my cat children, fish keeping and jewelry making.

Kennel Assistants

I have been a kennel assistant at Knapp Veterinary Hospital for quite a few years now.

Rosie
I have worked at Knapp's for over 6 years. I enjoy my job and love working with the animals.

Brooke
I am taking classes at Columbus State and enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

Ashley C.
I have been with KVH for over 4 years. I'm currently going to CSCC to become a veterinary technician. I have a shih tzu named Rawly.

Matt
I am a student at DeVry majoring in computer information systems.

Alexandra
I'm a kennel attendant at Knapp's. I am currently a student at Columbus Alternative High School and I love dancing.

I love all animals especially reptiles.

I am currently enrolled in the Vet Tech program at CSCC. I have a cocker spaniel named CC. I enjoy playing golf in the summer.
